The night I walked for my beret and the end of Advanced Training was the same day as the funeral of one of my close friends in my company and my second gunner Hen Shafir.. Not a lot of us were in the best of moods that day and we were all fighting and upset and tired but we pulled it together as one when it came to the hike and got it done for Hen for ourselves, for the history of Israel and the Jews and for the future of our homeland.. #idf #RIPHenShafir -- source link
