Through the first 86 Academy Awards ceremonies, 85 films have received 10 or more Oscar nominations. For this year’s show (the 87th), none hit the mark; “Birdman” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel” each earned nine nominations.For this post, I’ve graphed the number of nominations against the number of wins for each of those 85 films.
