Playstation Opens Their Gear StorePlaystation has finally opened their own online store to sell merch based on first party games such as Uncharted and The Last of Us as well as gear emblazoned with Playstation logos and iconography. This store isn’t just a collection of bllack shirts with the cover art slapped on.Sony launched the Playstation Gear Store on March 11th. This site features many different items that were made specifically for the site including a clicker bust from The Last of Us, a Playstation mug, and a Last of Us backpack. Up until this point, Playstation has asked the help of various sites such as Musterbrand and Insert Coin Clothing to produce merchandise for some of their games. The Gear Store sells clothing, accessories, and statues from a variety of their games. Some of the more unusual brands with a presence in the store are Powers (the new show on the Playstation Network) and Jak and Daxter! Some of the more popular items are Ellie’s “ice cream hoodie”, the Limited Edition version of the Art of Uncharted, and pins of characters from The Last of Us.
