ardwynna: Because sometimes I just want to stitch something, here’s a handmade scented sachet I made this weekend, featuring: Embroidery on white chiffon fabric. It’s stem stitch, lazy daisy and drizzle stitch in two shades of green and two shades of purple, not the most accurate lavender ever but thus begins my journey into stumpwork.Tiny little French seams and a squared-off bottom, not readily apparent from the front but I am stupid proud of them anyway.Epsom salts, lavender oil, a smidge of rose oil for the extra calming effect, and a teaspoon of actual lavender buds for the looks. And a stitched on ribbon tie to allow reopening and refreshing with a little more scent oil as needed. This one’s for the regular sleepwear drawer. I’ll work out something a little more uplifting for the sexy stuff. OMG so cute! Can I pay you to make one for me? And maybe also one for rosemary? -- source link
