ffriday, october 16, 2020 | “habulin nyo!”i’m starting a new journey! i’ve always been drawn to character design, human nature, and the relationships between people. this year, i’m going to try my best to share how i see others since i struggle with social anxiety and i want to do something to help me acknowledge people more instead of ignoring them (interacting with more people……way later down the line lol). i’m going to practice drawing strangers i see when i go to the store or any time i run errands and need to go outside. i’ll practice looking at people more instead of looking down all the time (since eye contact is a struggle) and so far, i’ve already noticed so many interesting snapshots of so many interesting lives. by the end of this journey, i aim to improve not only in gesture, anatomy, character design, and storytelling, but also in connecting with more fearfully and wonderfully made people.//this first group is heartwarming- i imagine they’re all older brothers of the little girl in the minnie mouse skirt and they’re fiercely protective of her. they had just finished shopping at seafood city and the kiddo was so happy she started skipping and singing in the parking lot. one of the older bros frantically yelled to catch her (this cramped parking lot is terrifyingly filled with horrible drivers, myself included). BIG big bro makes sure lil girl is safe- all is good -- source link
