burninglikea-bridge:I have been feeling like absolute shit lately. I’m not getting a cold or the flu….my depression and anxiety have been getting the best of me. I was experiencing side effects from my first SSRI and instead of trying a new one my old doctor just kept upping my dosage (don’t like these side effects? Let’s double your dosage! ). But I got fed up and so I did pretty much what you’re not supposed to do and stopped taking it all at once. I do not recommend that by the way.I went and saw a new doctor yesterday and she was wonderful. When I told her about the side effects I was experiencing she immediately gave me a new SSRI (she was also pretty upset with my last doctor) and refilled my prescription for Xanax. I kind of haven’t felt like myself for weeks now and I would really like to feel better. -- source link
