5.05 Master PlanButler Neal + Sick Peter + Beekeeper Mozz + Detective El = Awesome Episode!Aside from the fact that Matt Bomer looked smoking in that butler uniform, all the other characters were also a lot of fun to watch. It’s always nice to see them take a little step away from their normal roles. Except for Mozzie. You just never know with that guy.Neal had spent time as a butler during his conman days, learning how to butle his ass off. XD This came in handy for this week’s case, when El suspected that his client’s prodigal son might not be his son at all. What tipped her off? The kid’s opinion about Picasso’s work. Dammit, Picasso. You and your polarizing art.And since there’s identity theft and possible actual monetary theft involved, the FBI looked into things. That meant Neal going undercover as the family butler, and Peter staying at home and trying not to throw up. Lol Peter. He doesn’t do sick very well does he? He would rather hold a trash can to his chest all day than stay in bed for one day.Lucky for him, Mozzie had just started his new hobby: beekeeping. This gave Mozzie the perfect opportunity to test out his new honey remedy. We never really learned what exactly he put in it but it worked. Peter already felt better by the third dose. XDBack in the mansion, Neal was trying his best to get some sort of DNA sample from Patrick so they can prove he’s not who he says he is. But the kid was sneaky himself, always managing to not leave traces of DNA lying around. That in itself was suspicious. El finally just confronted the father (Richard Thomas! The Americans!) to compel a DNA test, to which Patrick openly agreed to. He even drew his own blood and everything.Unsurprisingly, the test was a match. Unsurprising because I already decided in the beginning that El can’t be wrong about anything ever lol. And if the guy is indeed an imposter, he won’t willingly expose himself. So yes, a match, but only because he cheated it somehow. Specifically by storing the actual Patrick’s blood in a tube under his skin. Ooookayyyyy. What gave him away this time? A visit to the vet. XDThey needed to prove this of course so they baited fake Patrick with another personal experience only the real Patrick would know about. Enter Polish Peter. Peter threatened fake Patrick with his very serious accent, which prompted fake Patrick to come running - well, biking really - to the real Patrick to try and get out of it.The FBI set up a decent tail but some random motorist ran over the agent, which was somehow hilarious to me. This means Neal gets to drive Peter’s new car to chase a bad guy! They track down fake Patrick, retrieve real Patrick, and return him to his father and sister. Neal out-butled every single butler out there with that achievement. XDOne last thing: PDA. Proximity, Distraction, Attention. I don’t have the charm/grace/slight of hand to pull that off but that’s a pretty neat trick. Neal made it look so easy. But then again, that happens with almost any thing he does. XD -- source link
