He stopped when he noticed Nico cracking up. “What?” “Oh my gods, you’re horrible!” Nico said once he caught his breath. “At singing? Yeah, I know,” Will said, smiling slightly. He loved it when he made Nico laugh. Still, he added, “Sorry, I’ll stop if it’s annoying.” “No, no,” Nico shook his head, “it’s actually super cute. It’s just…isn’t your dad the god of music? And wasn’t your mom a singer?” Will shrugged, “Unfortunately those genes were not passed down to me.” He said. Then, to bring the subject off of himself, he added, “Hey, speaking of singing, I don’t think I’ve ever heard you sing.” Nico froze, “Yeah, there’s a reason for that.” “Come on, you can’t be worse than I am,” Will insisted, “Sing something for me.” “Fine…I guess,” Nico sighed, “Um,” he took a deep breath and started singing. He didn’t sing much, barely even a verse, but it was enough to make Will stare in awe, “Whoa, Nico, your voice is beautiful.” Nico blushed, instinctively ducking his head forward slightly so his hair covered his face. “I know. You should’ve heard Bianca, though, she was the best in the family.” Will reached out and brushed the hair out of Nico’s face, moving closer to his boyfriend. “Well, I don’t know about Bianca, but you are pretty damn good. Why have I never heard you before? Why don’t you sing more often? With a voice like yours…” “Too much attention.” Nico muttered. “I thought you liked attention.” Will teased, his hand moving from Nico’s hair to the side of his face. Nico leaned into the touch. “From you, yeah.
