A good soak and wash and they’re ready to go. I’ve been doing it for a long time, and I’ve yet to die from cooties. I’ll let you know if it happens though! Our bodies are washable, and our skin is an amazing organ. It’s protective qualities are second to none. Plus, buying an item secondhand means I’m not adding to the throw-away lifestyle we’ve all become so accustomed to. The girdle is by Venus and I bought it off @dullife_lingerie through her Depop shop. It’s a size large, but because it’s vintage it’s misleading (I’m a size small and it fits perfectly on me). So if you’re buying secondhand vintage off the net, make sure to read the measurements because what they say today meant something very different yesterday. Finally, I have on vintage nylon stockings, again found at an op shop for $1! The stocking/sock section usually goes unnoticed by many. I’ve found some amazing stockings in my time. It’s well worth a search in that area. So all up, my lingerie today cost $33. Not too bad, hey? Everything is in near new condition (the stockings were unopened) and fit beautifully. Plus, there’s something so insanely sexy about retro wear.
