pangur-and-grim:Yennefer of Vengerbeakshe’s gained a surprising amount of weight these past couple weeks! went from a walking skeleton to relatively normal! good job Yennefer!EDIT: for real it’s hard to show how thin she was because of all those feathers, but her keel was like a knife. you see that ridge sticking out of her feathers? it should NOT have looked like thatthe ‘keel test’ is how you asses a chicken’s body condition, and she was the lowest possible rankthis genetically featherless chicken is pretty nasty, but it does show off how a healthy keel SHOULD look! not perfectly rounded, but definitely cushioned by muscle and fat -- source link
