2nd Kyoshi novel The Shadow of Kyoshi was released in 2020, shortly after Director Bong Joonho rose to international fame with his film Parasite at the end of 2019. Kyoshi novels are filled with references to various popular media, so I like to think this was an intentional tribute considering Joonho isn’t a common name.If i ever draw that scene with CAPT Joonho, it’ll be a carbon copy of director Bong Joonho lmao -- source link
