gaymalehomosexual: illalwaysbehere: dont-be-intersexist: outofspace43:opabiniawillreturn:solo1y: A reference image for when I hear people trashing trans people and hiding behind “the science” or “defending women”. notice how this doesn’t say that those variations are different sexes? 45X, or X0, is Turner syndrome, a female-specific DSD.45Y is nothing. Without an X chromosome fetuses don’t survive.47XXX, or trisomy X, is a female-specific DSD.47XYY, or Jacobs syndrome, is a male-specific DSD.47XXY, or Klinefelter syndrome, is a male-specific DSD.A 46XY female has Swyer syndrome. She is still female.A 46XX male has de la Chapelle syndrome. He is still male.@solo1y when you want to talk about science, you should really get the science right first before showing your known ass. notice how those are disorders…not genders…and trans ppl aren’t the same at all…trans ppl don’t care about intersex ppl @solo1y your own damn source doesn’t even support your bullshit. @solo1y Swyer syndrome effects an estimated %0.001 of the female population. De la Chapelle syndrome effects an estimated %0.005 of the male population. The latter can cause nonstandard external genitals, but the majority are unambiguously female and male respectively based on observation. All other chromosomal DSDs you listed are unambiguous males or females, with the main effect being sterility or cognitive delays, or no noticeable symptoms at all. None of these conditions have anything to do with being trans. Intersex people are not your argumentative pawns. -- source link
