(he looks suspiciously like movie JD. oops)heres some Things about poseidon nico and the role/godswaps in the au: - he and bianca were still in the lotus casino and still born in the 30s - im certain hades wasnt the only god who knew about the hotel- but they were put in later. when nico and bianca come out, they’re thirteen and fifteen. - poseidon bianca… does not die. she joins the hunters, instead, and runs away from her responsibility for nico… who is fuckin torn up about that. go, more trauma. - in reference to that really bloody neek: he figures out his blood-bending powers FAR before percy did in the actual series. its hard to remember but there’s assholes of every flavor and, well… someone corners nico and he doesn’t respond well to it. - a lot of people seem to godswap nico to make him happier. sorry guys he’s still the Trauma Poster Boy™. that incident instills a ton of self hatred, plus the lack of his mother and sister… pretty fuckin bad. he hides a lot with fun water tricks and puns but occasionally he’ll make a joke that’s just too deep and self-loathing and everyone gets worried. - im a sucker for jasico so in at least one way this au could go, he ends up with athena!jason. (yes that means jupiter!annabeth) - nico definitely has a crush on percy still. percy came to camp when he was twelve as usual and he’s a year older than nico here - kinda mysterious b/c hades kid, but still the kinda goofy dude we know and love. but all the attention is turned on nico when he arrives - people are much more quick to accept a poseidon kid over a hades kid, and it took a long-ass time for percy to win anyone’s trust anyway. so he’s outcasted again, and he’s the one who ditches camp.- its ok sally’s still alive and he hangs out a lot with her. he tries not to draw monsters though so he does a lot of travelling, a lot of iris messaging. - side note jupiter annabeth is the one who fights krios instead of jason. she’s switched with nico for the HoO series. percy is the ambassador of pluto. my fuckin hand and arm hurt from drawing this, but pls keep asking abt this au i love it so much -- source link
