In isolation at Children’s National Medical Center. Hopefully we can bring The Kid home soon (later today if the fever stays down and his blood work looks better). Diagnosis is Epstein-Barr Virus, aka mononucleosis. Recovery will be long, but it’s much better than it could have been and a relief to have an answer. Thank you all for the well wishes. We appreciate your kind words very much. I’m very lucky I’ve been able to stay here the whole time. And that we’ll be heading home soon, because at this point I’m pretty ripe.
