The best part about 6am wake up calls is having the road to yourself. Couldn’t be more excited to be running my second New York City Marathon this November thanks to TAG Heuer. I last ran the race in 2010 and it was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done, but it was also a huge letdown. I got injured during the race and hobbled across the finish line, barely able to walk. I felt robbed of the thrill of finishing a marathon because of the pain of my injury. I couldn’t run for months after the race. Still, I told myself I’d run another one someday. Here I am 6 years later – I’ve been training for about a month now through all of the city’s beautifully diverse landscapes. I’m feeling great and I can’t wait to tackle this incredible challenge again. -- source link
