There was too great an exposure range between Saturn and the moon. The moon is clearly over exposed and I was not able to recover the blown out highlights, however I was able to bring up the under exposure on Saturn by stacking 800 frames. The stacking of Saturn occurred well before it had reached the moon’s limb and I have repositioned the stacked Saturn image exactly where the video shows it ingressing the moon’s limb. -- source link
