After deep consideration and the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received, our team has decided to launch a DoubleShake Kickstarter to assist with bringing the game to it’s full potential!We’re aiming to launch it on October 20th! Just two weeks! As mentioned during its reveal, the original plan was to make this game really small, but we’ve had plenty of ideas how to expand it, and originally hoped that we could apply those ideas to a “Deluxe” re-release if initial sales were high enough. However, we’ve decided to try a Kickstarter to gauge interest and accrue funding BEFORE release. With a proper budget, we can slingshot straight to the full version, release a more fitting spiritual successor to our favorite games, and pay our team what they deserve! The content planned for this expansion would nearly double the content, but the additional room for better storytelling and expanded level design might effectively QUADRUPLE the playability.ALSO, look forward to a playable demo coming out alongside the campaign! -- source link
