Suspicious persons.Last year I was drawing them for OC Pride Parade, this year I’m just stress-playing homebrew D&D, which works by displacing your lack of control and uncertainty in real life into a meaningless game. It was going alright until my boy got paralysed by a carrion crawler and double-eaten. Did he get paralysed by a carrion crawler because he failed the saving throw? No. He got paralysed by a carrion crawler because he crit failed his attack roll, which usually translates to a hilarious accident by our homebrew rules. It was all very 2meirl4meirl.Anyway, I sketched out my boy first just to see if it was viable for him to be toting all his poison vials on his belt, and when Maxx, who is laden under actual work, expressed his wistfulness, I’d thought I’d knock out a quick sketch of his for him as well.
