Okay so I just went to Mycenae, Greece, and while I have no proof that this is the cistern that inspired the underground temple in The Thief, I am 98% sure it’s @meganwhalenturner‘s tunnel and I could not be more excited.Also the gate there has twin lions carved into the top…sounds familiar. -- source link
