Here are the characters that @ridersoftheapocalypse, @figmentforms, @quietpastelcolours and I have created and developed together. Thanks you guys for the awesome cooperation and your friendships! :D It’s been so much fun! Rinku, Cass by @figmentformsZarazu and Corsaire by @ridersoftheapocalypseBelow are the awesome descriptions of the characters by @ridersoftheapocalypse Rinku – headstrong, reckless, and brave, nothing has held this wild little princess back from chasing what she wanted. When she wanted sword fighting lessons, she got them. When she wanted to explore, she did so. Yet her favorite pastime has always been pulling the most awesome of pranks with Skull Kid. Raised by Ganondorf and Zelda, Rinku is the embodiment of courage, but has learned life lessons from power and wisdom as parental figures. Despite the love she received from both of her adoptive parents, Rinku still struggled with the pressure of her past lives and ultimate duty to slay the demon king. To reflect on her life, Rinku left home for a few years but eventually returned to her family after finding some semblance of inner peace. Her past lives still haunt her occasionally, but she has decided to live for the best.Covarog Dragmire – heir to the throne of Hyrule, the crown prince has to live up to the expectations of not only his family, but as well as the court and townspeople. This is a difficult task for him, considering the hatred for his sire still runs deep in the kingdom and among the council members. There is still much distrust, and he is constantly having to prove himself to the kingdom. There is still much he has to learn about being a good king, though he is trying his best to succeed in the path laid out before him. He wishes to be a righteous leader to his people and expand Hyrule’s reach, making new allies and exploring unknown sections of the continent. However, his dreams of turning Hyrule into a greater nation might have to wait if trouble keeps brewing at every corner. Skilled in combat, he is a ferocious warrior just like his sire and has used his brute strength several times over to win. Covarog feels that falling in love, true love, is something that is out of his reach, yet holds onto the hope that he will someday meet the other half of his soul.Ralnor Dragmire – having lived in the shadow of his elder brother, the second born prince prefers to keep to himself. While Covarog shines in the spotlight, he does not mind staying in the shadows. He has difficulty trusting others due to the cruelty of the court and does not make friends easily. Ralnor prefers to treat his subordinates as pawns, mere chess pieces for him to use as he pleases. It seems that there is always an ulterior motive from anyone trying to get close to any of the royal family members, so he has his defenses ready. Possessing a darker heart than his elder brother, he has a keen interest in the techniques used in torture to obtain information. Absolutely brilliant, Ralnor spends a considerable amount of hours in the library to obtain new knowledge and loves a round of chess against a worthy opponent in his leisure time. Having a certain fascination with poisons from plants, he keeps a section of the greenhouse blocked off specifically for his life threatening plants. His main objective is to spy on others who might try to harm his family and to keep them from doing so.Orana Dragmire – loving the taste of adventures, this princess is well traveled. The longing to see and experience new parts of the world has been instilled in her since she was little. So once she was of age, Orana explored the regions she always longed to see. There has been a calling and she can never seem to settle for long. Since she had trained with her brothers in the ways of combat, Orana never had trouble defending herself or winning a fight. With this in mind, the princess knew it would not be difficult to win her sire’s approval to go and see the world. With a deep love and respect of animals, she became a beast master under the guidance of her father and has a way with the wild creatures of nature. Due to her skill, it is often easy for her to win over the trust of any creature. Another trait Orana inherited from her father was his temper. She has no tolerance for those who disrespect her, she will not hesitate to put them in their place. Persistence from her mother and a fiery attitude from her father, Orana is quite the rare mixture for a princess.Kanisa Dragmire – shy from a young age, this princess preferred the comfort of her books over mingling in the court. Spending hours upon hours curled up on a couch reading, Kanisa learned about the world outside within the pages. Closest to Ralnor, she would spend the majority of her free time with him, either playing a game of chess with her brother or conversing about various topics, anything from plants to politics. Kanisa has a secret love of romance novels, dreaming about her prince charming coming to sweep her off her feet one day. She does not share her interest of the sappy romance books due to ridicule or others calling her foolish, reading them in secret. Since she was so timid when she was younger, but so sweet, her father took the time to share with her the ways of dancing for the Gerudo tribe. Her mother also contributed, teaching her how to use her immense beauty and feminine wiles to charm the men of the court to obtain whatever she wished. From the wisdom of her mother, Kanisa learned to use or be used, and she would use her loveliness to get what she needed.Tebanam Dragmire – history was his favorite subject since he was a child. An aspiring archaeologist and historian, this prince’s goal is to bring the Gerudo culture back to life for his father. Since the Gerudo people have reached the near point of extinction, Tebanam wanted to gather all that he could to hold onto what little was left of the tribe. However, he has been hiding a secret considered taboo in the eyes of the court. Knowing he liked men from a young age, Tebanam and the son of a court member fell in love with each other and tried to keep their affections shush-shush. Unfortunately, the prince and his lover were found out by the court official’s father. Sending his son away, Tebanam was heartbroken, not even having the chance to say goodbye. So then, the prince turned his back on politics and left Hyrule, never returning or stay for long. During his travels, Tebanam’s main quest, besides looking for artifacts of the Gerudo, was to find the lost sister tribe called the Garai. With each and every journey, he is closer to his objective.Zarazu Slatki – a descendent of the noble Voda line, this elemental magic user has incredible water manipulating abilities. Learning how to use her unique magic, she grew to have a deep appreciation for the water spirit, Voda, who was both tranquil and powerful. From the time she was small, Zarazu loved the ocean and all the life within it. One day, while exploring alongside the rocks to look for pretty seashells, she found an abandoned water dragon egg and decided to raise it. Naming the hatchling Ba’puu, Zarazu was glad to have a friend. Having raised her younger sisters, Zarazu was a bit of an outcast from others due to her added icy ability, the other Lorleidians seeing it as an influence of dark magic. However, she did not let the wariness of others keep her from providing for her siblings, the dragons, and her people. Working hard for many years, Zarazu mastered her magic and earned the respect of the tribes. When she and her sisters heard from a merchant that the notorious Ganondorf was still alive after destroying their home, the Leden Voda decided to enact on her people’s behalf. Determined to bring back the precious artifacts that the demon king stole, Zarazu did not expect to encounter his son. After a heated fight, resulting in the prince following her to Lorleidi, Zarazu started to learn that there was more to the son of the demon king than the eye could see. Slowly, but surely, the guarded Leden Voda started to let her defenses fall around the prince and his charming smile…Cass – having traveled all over the world, this merchant is married to her work. Raised by a bargaining mother, Cass grew up to be a skillful at the business and expanded its reaches. Knowing how to obtain the best price on any particular trade, she has increased the profits considerably. She has a keen eye for spotting antiques, valuable gems, tasty spices, and high quality fabrics. Yet, her exotic blood, was always a rarity itself and usually caught the attention of others. Much to Cass’ distaste, her Gerudo heritage caught Ganondorf’s attention. The king instantly had her brought to the castle and insisted upon her marrying one of his sons. He refused to allow her to leave unless she agreed to do so. Having failed at escaping several times, Cass was beginning to lose hope at ever returning to her normal life. Originally, she was to marry his eldest son, Covarog, but his brother, Ralnor, made a deal on the behalf of his brother and for her sake as well. While she found the elder brother distasteful and a brute, the second prince was not so bad. He seemed more levelheaded and intelligent and… there was just something sweet about him.Captain Corsaire Raleigh – the son of a fisherman, Corsaire and his family were poor. He worked hard alongside his father to put food on the table. He was the oldest of four children, having a brother, Gharhad, and two sisters, Anne and Bonnie. Once of age, he joined the royal navy in the kingdom of Danjur. The time finally arrived to where Corsaire commanded his own ship, gaining the esteemed title of captain. Earning a status alongside nobility for his conquests and strategy in defense, Corsaire was living the dream and providing wealth for his family. The dream came to an abrupt, shattering end when a nobleman’s son made unwanted advancements on Anne. To defend Anne, Corsaire choked the life out of her attacker and was thrown in jail with the rest of his family. With the help of some delinquents, Corsaire broke out of jail and took his family far away from Danjur where they would be safe. Turning to piracy, he and his crew targeted the navy ships hauling ammo, supplies, and exotic trading goods. His hatred of the elite grew when a closer look provided a rather unpleasant view of how the royalty treated their people. For years, Corsaire has taken from the rich to give back to those who are poor, picking up some rather unique crewmen along the way. He is well-known across the sea for surviving his encounter with a kraken and his womanizing ways. In every port, he has a woman waiting for him… until a certain fiery redhead steals his heart.Vidar – Tough and somewhat distant, this Northerner’s life revolved around protecting his people from the dreaded “Frost Ones”. These were fallen, undead soldiers and dragons from a raging war long ago, influenced by dark, necromancy magic. Due to this unstable and malicious use of magic, it has made all Northerners very wary of using it, seen as a taboo. Vidar has worked tirelessly to keep his people from harm. With the ability to transform into a massive wolf, he was an intimidating foe on the icy battlefield. The definition of battle ready, Vidar was a Hersir, a commander. He served under one of the Three Jarls of the High King, commanding a portion of the Northern Army. The troops under his command are fiercely loyal to him, even though he is strict with his training. Used to the frigid cold and unforgiving environments of snow and ice, he learned how to survive from an early age in the harsh North. When he spends his time alone, he likes the peace and quiet, enjoying the stillness of the freshly fallen snow. When the North looked to expand the alliance with other countries to gain more products in trading and allies in war, Vidar was chosen to protect and assist Arago. An intelligent scholar, Arago was sent to Hyrule to discuss an alliance. As soon as the warrior saw the king’s beautiful daughter, dancing for the entertainment of all, it was an automatic reaction, like a moth to a flame…Faris “Skullcrusher” – all of his life, this lost soul could only recall the bonds of slavery. Not even remembering his real name, Skullcrusher had been fighting in the gladiators rings and serving others in the pleasure house as long as he could remember. Dragged from city to city, his only objective was to survive and to see another day. The only reason he continued with his miserable existence of a life was due to his best friend, Renegade. The two of them fought side by side in the ring, defeating all opponents who faced them as a challenging and fearsome duo. However, when Renegade was killed by a tiger in the ring, Skullcrusher spiraled into a depression. It did not help matters when his number one patron at the pleasure house, Lord Siek, continued to torture him, mentally and physically. This carried on for a number of years before Skullcrusher woke to find he had been sold and purchased. This new kind and caring master was foreign to him. A historian, this man needed a guide and bodyguard in one for traveling in the lethal deserts. He even gave him a proper name, “Faris”. After time together, Faris was able to come out of his shell more, but it was difficult for him. He always felt so confident on the battlefield where he was a champion and undefeated. Yet, when he was not fighting, he had been trained to be submissive. Everything was so new, and he was beginning to learn more about himself. Little by little, the ex-slave turned free man was beginning to feel something more for this man who saved him from a life of pain and desolation. -- source link
