Marcy ends up kidnapped by a shady group of individuals who just happen to be connected to another string of disappearances in the area, Rui finds a missing girl and decides to hide her in her treehouse, and Steve’s being harassed by a seemingly magical bird. Everything’s happening at once and just what are these crazy monsters that keep popping up everywhere? CHARACTERSsteve segura- the main character! we start off with steve’s pov and we will most likely end with his pov. he’s just your normal 14 year old high school kid. he’s not the best at schoolwork, but he tries his darnedest. when all this stuff starts to happen, steve’s pulled along for the journey whether he wants to or not. and trust me, he would much rather be taking a nap. rui carter- steve’s childhood friend, rui is, how do i say, strong willed? she’s incredible, self motivated, a lover of science, a thing all students wish they could be. if only she knew how to mind her own business. when weird things start happening to steve, it’s all rui can do not to hide her excitement. little did she know she’d bite off more than she could chew. marcy saxon - the last (but certainly not least) member of our trio, she’s another one of steve’s childhood friends. an incredibly shy engineering prodigy, she could have everything she could possibly want… if only her parents paid attention to her.
