English Translation: Is the Niqab a personal freedom? I say that the Niqab is not a personal freedom. Firstly, because we cannot interact with an anonymous person. Second, what is this sadness in worship and honour? Have we been created to be forbidden from enjoying life? Or were we created to enjoy life? And why do we accept that a woman to be insulted in this manner? [It’s] as if she is a ghost without an identity walking among people. As if she admits that she is a whore. [As is] she does not deserve to enjoy life like men do. For a society to dictate how a woman must dress to protect the man against a fall to disobedience. I count this [as] an insult to women’s intellect. I am amazed by some women’s devotion to [such] laws, or belittling traditions. I am with the delegalisation of Niqab, because it is the first step towards a declaration [against?] the public [display of?] religiosity, and the liberalisation of women from nonsensical shackles and traditions.
