!!!!!!!! Happy Holidays from the Hevelin Collection !!!!!!!! Incinerations was a fanzine published by The Grape Press out of Portland, OR. In the front matter, the editors describe the zine as “an amateur magazine devoted to the finest aspects of cultural life in the U.S.” The holiday 1950 issue comes complete with cheeky art, a great cover, and an included jacket to keep said cover vibrant and safe. The issue also included a few pull-out “holiday”cards, including one of the Mona Lisa (shown above). According to Fancyclopedia 3, these cards were considered so lewd that the editors “got the post office after them.” What could be more festive than that!Incinerations. Vol.1, No.4, Winter 1950.
