One of which was Kull, a warrior and adventurer from pre-catclysmic Atlantis. Kull made his first appearance in “The Shadow Kingdom” in Weird Tales (August 1929). Kull made his first comic book appearance in Marvel’s Conan the Barbarian #1 (October 1970). Between 1971 and 1985, Marvel published three different series of Kull comics.
