orlibloomed: #he knows that he can get away with shit that some of the other avengers can’t because he isn’t in the spotlight like they are#he can do really questionable things for the good of people #and hate himself for it but know that sometimes it has to be done #he wants to be a better man but it isn’t always that easy #the boy that wanted to be captain america growing into a man that knows he is never going to carry that shield and accepting that #becoming a hero that understands that sometimes doing a bad thing is for the good of everyone #HE KNOWS HE CAN GET HIS HANDS BLOODY AND IT WILL GO UNNOTICED #clint can let his morality slide when he deems it needed #and in the morning he will see the blood on his hands and scrub himself raw in the morning #he’ll have more reasons to not look at himself in the mirror and assume people won’t miss him if he leaves #but in that moment #in moments like this one it is what his mind believes is the best option#hurt this man and he will leave #hurt him and you will be safe and so will the people in your building -- source link
