❤️ MEET THE ARTIST - @fridgefeet ❤️TWITTER: @fridgefeet ️ INSTA: @fridgefeetTell us a little bit about yourself! Hi I’m Annabelle! I’m going to college, and I like to draw and write stories. (and listen to music and play animal crossing too) How long have you been drawing? My mom loves to brag about how in preschool I would draw Velma Dinkley every day (this should have been the first sign I was sapphic btw). But I didn’t start drawing with intention until I was 11 when I found deviantart – where I proceeded to draw girls all day (this should have been the second sign I was sapphic btw). Tell us about your Undertale/DELTARUNE Experience! When did you first play/watch? What does it mean to you? I remember the first post I saw of it, it was screenshots of the “head-dogs” scene. I had been into a small RPG game called Wadanohara in 2014, and ended up having a very good time with it. So since UT looked similar, and it was 2015 – it seemed like I could have the same kind of fun. It came as a surprise when it ended up catching as much attention as it did. I ended up having a lot of real life experiences related to the game, but they’re long and complicated – the one I’ll shortly recount is making a friend (with someone I’m still friends with) because he recognized the Alphyne stuff I was doodling in my notebook during my high school ASL class. What inspired your piece for the It’s Only You Zine? Well I wanted to do a group shot, and I’ve always been a fan of drawing characters in different clothes than they typically do! There’s something fascinating about making a character read as themselves while in an outfit the creator didn’t give them….. this is the pretentious way to say I like drawing characters playing dressup. What’s next for you after this project? I want to write and create stories. Whether that mean comics, illustrations, or heck even like – fake gameplay videos. I just wanna make stories! And I am making these stories, the hurdle I’m facing right now is working up the courage to post them in a public forum.
