In the spirit of Red Dragon Con, we ask Fannibals to give some thought as to what would or could happen after the fight with Francis and subsequent Fall. Explore this theme in a short (650 word max) story vignette, and submit it for inclusion in the zine.Printed copies of the zine will be given out for free at Red Dragon Con 5 in London from 1st to 3rd February 2019. Any left over copies will be available to participants first and then general public, if they are willing to pay the shipping cost.Main contact for the zine will be via email, please make sure you have [email protected] whitelisted in your email client.RulesSubmissions must be no more than 650 words long.All works must be Hannigram pairing and take place immediately following or at any point after the season 3 finale.Participants selected to be included must not publicly post their work for the project until 4th February.Applicants who are not accepted may do whatever they like with their work on receiving the email telling them they have not been chosen for the project.After the project has been completed, a collection will be posted on AO3 for zine contributors to link their works.Schedule7th November to 26th December - Submissions OPEN27th December - 1st January - Selection of works to include & Contacting participants to let them know if they were accepted or not.2nd January - 7th January - Layout and formatting of works ready for print8th - 9th January - Participants will receive a draft of the PDF and must point out any issues within 48 hours.10th January - Final PDF is sent for printing1st - 3rd February - Copies of the zine given out free at RDC4th February - Participants may post their work publiclyFAQQ.) Who’s behind this zine?This zine is run by @trashbambi and @maydei. However please do not send any zine related messages to those personal accounts!Q.) Will anything be done to alter my submission before it’s put in the zine?Submissions may have their format altered to fit the zine, We will try our best to keep things as intact as possible, however we may need to contact participants about alterations. In cases where we find minor spelling errors me way correct them without informing the participant.Q.) How many submission will be in the zine?The zine will contain a total of 21 stories, 19 slots are open to applicants. The other two slots are reserved for the main organisers.Q.) How will submissions be picked to be included in the zine?Submissions will be voted on by a group of 5 people, the voting criteria will be: relevance to theme, characterization, flow/style. Each criteria will be given points from 1 to 10 by each voter, and those with the highest overall points will be shortlisted. If the shortlist is longer than we have space for, final decisions fall on the main organisers to choose.Q.) I’m worried I won’t be accepted because I’m not a well known/popular/established writer.Please don’t worry! Popularity will not be a factor in judging who’s work to includeQ.) I wasn’t accepted to the zine, can I still add my submission for it to the AO3 Collection?Yes! You’re more than welcome to do that.Q.) Will this zine be NSFW?Yes. as with the show itself, this zine may contain NSFW content of varying degrees. This does not necessarily mean sexually explicit.Q.) What do contributors get?As the zine is free, contributors get a PDF copy of it as the project is being paid for out of the pocket of the organisers and there isn’t spare money for printing and shipping extra copies of the zine to all participants.Q.) What are the dimensions of the zine?The zine will be Full Colour, 14.8 cm x 21 cm, 48 pages including covers.Q.) Will the zine contain any artwork?The zine will contain cover illustrations and inside cover pattern illustrations.Q.) What does vignette mean?A vignette is a short story of between 500 and 1000 words.
