lovethighholsters:I’d like to imagine Yavanna being like one of the Maenads (like being the key word) and just runs around covered in greenery amongst her trees; stone-cold does not give a fuck about the other Ainur. When Aule makes the dwarves he honors Yavanna by giving them the great lengths of woolly hair she has. (The resemblance kinda helped when they inevitably chopped down her trees)Also, phobs was the one to really get me into looking at lotr and the silmarillion just so I could understand the jokes they were making. I’ve only read excerpts from the books since I haven’t been able to sit down and read anything besides my textbooks this semester. (Same reason I haven’t been drawing lately) -- source link
