Palazzo Ruspoli.Etta Lathrop Dunham, a wealthy American, became the Marchesa Antonio de Viti de Marco when, on 4 June 1895, she married Italian economist and parliamentarian Antonio de Viti de Marco. Etta had hundreds of books and was an avid reader. Her correspondence often contained knowledgeable critical references to her reading. Many were history books linked to the places she was in (from the history of Europe to that of the Apulian). She followed Italian politics closely. -- source link
