Portrait of a Young Woman, Half-Length, Wearing a White Dress with a Large Bow (1758). François Hubert Drouais (French, 1727-1775). Oil on canvas, oval.During his relatively short career, Drouais established himself as one of the leading portrait painters of the age of Louis XV. He is presumed to have studied at various times with Donat Nonotte, Carle Van Loo, Charles Joseph Natoire, and François Boucher.
