ianference:Most of Grafton State Hospital, the former farm colony for the asylum in Worcester, MA, is pretty well destroyed - vandals have gotten in, smashing things and leaving graffiti on the walls. But this basement corridor, with some relatively unique ductwork and its pastel paint - has remained relatively untouched. Perhaps that’s due to the labyrinthine nature of the building; some parts of feel like one is going in circles when one is actually navigating closer and closer to the more interesting parts of the building. Or perhaps it’s due to the proximity of this corridor to the buildings on the campus that are still in use - as a Massachusetts Jobs Corps center. In any case, I’m just glad that it remains in a state of undisturbed abandonment. Print available here.[Patreon] - [Facebook] - [The Kingston Lounge] -- source link
