artemissoteira:et-haec:artemissoteira:artemisia-at-salamis:psh, except usually not the second half. when we were in a museum in rome there was this staircase with fragments and inscriptions on both sides - so I made Hortensia take one wall and I did the other.Oh yeah, and then we ended up translating at Prom. because man, I am not a school dance kind of person and seriously, Latin? We can always make time for that. What else is one supposed to do at prom? What kind of prom did you guys have? I would have gone to so many more dances if there were Latin involved.Oh gosh, I wish there were Latin involved in our dances! Artemisia just happened to have brought the camera she took to Italy, so (after she forced me to take pictures of her with various people) we took pity on the poor dancers who would have been blinded by our respective awesomenesses and turned to translating inscriptions instead.Like, Latin club events/parties are way more awesome. Because Mags. And fabulous people. Besides, translating Latin while all dressed up was the coolest feeling ever. -- source link
