Rovine, foro romano, 2009.If for the near future I seem a little obsessed by topics relating to ancient Rome, an apology. I am currently working my way through two on-line courses, a good one on the history of the Roman Empire from LaTrobe University in Australia and a truly excellent course on Roman architecture from Yale. Having worked to master a bit of Italian, I am itching for an opportunity to revisit Italy in the near future, to see for the first time some places I have missed and to see again places, like the forum in Rome shown above, which I found overwhelming due to my ignorance on previous visits.
