Hello there! A lot is happening, I’ve been admittedly really stressed so I’m taking a moment to breathe and share the Danahers in their D&D/fantasy designs.Left to right, top to bottom: Bia, Annie, Daphne, and Cillian. They’re all considered “Infernal” - fire genasi whose progenitors have touched hellfire and brimstone. Bia, Cillian and Daphne were all born to fire genasi, but Annie was born to a human. She is considered human on paper, but she has infernal in her blood.Info on them below the cut!Annie is the first child - unlike her siblings, she was “the first wife’s” child with the head of the house, Tynan. She is mostly human like her mother. Still, her infernal heritage peaks through in her red hair, pointed ears, and single horn. As the oldest she was expected to take over the forge, but she couldn’t live up to her father’s impossible expectations, and their relationship turned volatile. She ran away from home after an argument in the forge left her with the burn. She found her healing in nature. Annie always loved the stories of dragons and knights, so she became a paladin (oath of the ancients). She’s a big woman with a big heart, but she lacks brains and a sense of self preservation. Annie does eventually tap into her infernal heritage and casts a silver fire when she uses magic.Bia is the second child, but the first of Tynan and Bernadette’s children. She is completely infernal like her parents before her. While growing up with Annie, Tynan instigated an unhealthy rivalry between Bia and Annie that defines their relationship to this day. Bia learned how to work the forge, but found her calling in the military and left home to become a feared colonel. Now that she’s away from home, she recognizes the damage she’s suffered and dealt to her family, but is having trouble reversing it. Bia tends to be cold and calculating, but has a hot temper that shouldn’t be messed with. She is a heavy fighter in combat, something close to a Bulwark on the battlefield. The fire she casts is blue.Cillian is the third child and the middle child of Tynan and Bernie’s family. Out of all his siblings, he is the most mild mannered. He’s started to take over the forge in his sisters’ absence, but his training has been slow going. While he’d love to leave home, he seems to have no motivation to do so. It’s suspected that Cillian is harboring depression, which could be what’s stifling his escape. In the meantime, Cillian works as a witcher in his town’s guard (a necessity when your town is plagued by fey creatures) and enjoys embroidery on the side. He fights with a shovel, and the fire he casts is a traditional red. All witchers bear a mark of their profession, and Cillian’s is black blood.Daphne is the last child in the family, born to Tynan and Bernie, and by far the most naturally talented. She had trouble relating to the rest of her siblings for various reasons, but the biggest gap between them was how feminine she was. Daphne was clever and got out of the house early by convincing her mother she should attend a prominent magic college.Daphne is smart and beautiful, and she knows it. She is a powerful sorceress and prides herself in being the top of her class (currently). She’d like to mend the bond between her and her sisters, but is having trouble getting the courage to face them again. She is a suave lesbian right up until it’s time to kiss, at which point she critically fails and can’t seem to follow through. Daphne alternates between casting pink and green fire. -- source link
