aubrey-plaza:skyeknight-conundrum-reblogger:marauders4evr:aubrey-plaza:Birds of Prey + male fragility reviews (insp.) I’m all for women empowerment but not to the point that it just degrades men by general default.I’m all for women empowerment that they don’t need to put men down just so they’re at the top.Because Natasha Romanoff never had to do that. She was one of the first female Avengers and even before she was revealed to be some kind of super spy in the Iron Man movie you already knew she was going to be a badass. Especially with how she dealt with Happy. And in Captain America, the First Avenger, they showed Steve dive for the grenade. But Peggy was close behind him. If it wasn’t obviously Steve’s movie, she could also be “Captain America” and even without super powers of any kind, she still got her own series. And basically, this movie in OP is also bad portrayal of women empowerment that shows you have to be a sexualized crazy badass bitch with guns and your YOLO tongue out to be “empowering” -- source link
