Matthew (the person who had this interaction) is correct when he asks us, specifically white people, what we are going to do about this. What are we going to do? This isn’t just happening once every other blue moon, and wouldn’t be acceptable even if it was. This is happening daily to people of color, specifically black people. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
