C R O N U SMythology Meme » Titans Cronus was one of the sons of Gaea and Ouranos (Uranus, and Gaia). He was the weakeset, and youngest of his siblings, but the leader of them. He married his sister Rhea, and had six children: Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. In mythology, Cronus castrated his father, overtook the throne, and was foretold that Cronus’ own child would overthrow him. Not wanting this, he ate all of his children, save for Zeus who was hidden away by Rhea. Eventually Zeus returned and made his father regurgitate his siblings, and they rebelled against the Titans, and banished them. -- source link
