Aloe marlothiiAloe marlothii is a very popular species in South African gardens, as well as in other countries. It is easy to see why, with its large dramatic rosettes of prickly leaves and its showy flowers. It is related to Aloe ferox, which comes from farther south, but is easily distinguished by the angle of its floral branches; these are erect in A. ferox. The flowers of Aloe marlothii are typically yellow or orange, whereas those of A. ferox are mostly in the red-to-orange range. From South Africa’s northeast.-Brian -- source link
