The Art Assignment: Surface TestThis wasn’t supposed to be my final assignment; I was testing my crayon and paper on my kitchen floor, thinking I was going to get some basic tile lines. I had never noticed nor appreciated the texture of a floor in my very own home.A strand of my long hair was caught between the paper and the floor. Another strand fell on top of the paper as I was taking photos. I’ve got a lot of hair and a lot of it ends up all over my home, so these made this rubbing feel like a unique part of me was in it. Also it made me feel like I needed to brush my hair and sweep the kitchen. -- source link
