I was inspired by The Art Assignment’s video defending selfies as an art form to take a selfie that is also a self portrait. I am doing this as a person who posts my art all the time but rarely posts myself. I wanted to show myself and the desk where I create art, because the seemingly chaotic jumble of bizarre objects (bones, bug parts, snake skin, etc.) where I am completely comfortable and can find what I need at a moment’s notice tells you a lot about how my mind works, and feels like a weirdly intimate thing to share. -- source link
