phocoenidae:This is a photo of an anomalously colored harbor porpoise that has been preserved at Istanbul University. The female porpoise was found live stranded in Istanbul Strait in 2012 and represents 1 of 3 abnormally pigmented porpoises found in the Turkish region. Instead of a slate gray color, this porpoise had black pigmentation on the dorsal side of the body and white coloration on the ventral side, with little black spots splashed over various parts of the body.Source -- source link
