It was what made her such a prodigious talent as a dancer, that she was able to utilize the two so thoroughly, but unfortunately it was also what made finding an instructor for her so damnably impossible. When Sher decided she didn’t want to dance, nothing in the world could entice her to do so. She sat in the studio on a small white box, her knees tucked under her chin, her fingers relaxing gracefully over her pointe shoes. The fact that she had dressed to dance infuriated her instructors more so than if she hadn’t shown up at all, which of course meant the Sher had done it deliberately.“Sher, darling, why don’t you want to dance?” Mrs. Holmes asked.
