We have no reason to post pictures of ourselves with mobility aids, and even less reason to really have them, but we aren’t revolting for feeling something isn’t right. Most of us know better than to call ourselves ‘transabled’.I know just seeing this headline makes it seem bad, and searching for it makes us seem worse (due to a number of fetishists wrongly using the label and the few people who think its ok for currently able-bodied people to use slurs for disabled people) but please don’t call us revolting.
