A small personal project - a necklace inspired by my current speedrun game, Final Fantasy Legend 2 (AKA Saga 2 in Japan)! If you’ve never played it, the game revolves around a multi-world hunt for the mystical MAGI - 77 ancient relics imbued with magical powers. As such, the necklace is made up of 77 dyed quartz beads with a clear quartz heart pendant at the center, all united in a crackle/variegated look that matches how the MAGI have been split from a single statue. Each color represents a different type of MAGI (Orange = Power, Pink = Speed, Green = Defense, Blue = Ice, Red = Fire, Yellow = Thunder, Purple = Poison, White = Mana and the unique MAGI) arranged in the order they are collected in game. The beads are strung on four strings for both for strength and to represent the four-character party. So yes, it is a whole game on a necklace! An esoteric game, but one that has become near and dear to my heart. -- source link
