These are just for the committee advancement and Senators can only vote on nominees under their jurisdiction during committee votes. So some of these Members can only vote against one nominee until it comes up for a floor vote.The good news is that there is still time! Make sure to reach out and have your voice heard by your Members! it was accurate at the time of posting — reflecting floor votes on pompeo, kelly, chao, haley, and mattis. since then, tillerson has been confirmed, with almost the entire democratic caucus voting no. now only 4 of them have voted yes in all confirmations:as of today (feb 1, 5 p.m. est) 10 democrats have voted yes on 5 of the 6 nominees. 21 democrats have voted yes on 4 nominees. 5 have voted yes 3 times. 6 have voted yes 2 times, and 1 (gillibrand) has voted yes only once.look for your senators here and see how they’ve done so far. look up whether they have committed to voting no on future nominees, especially sessions and devos. if they have, call to thank them and urge them to keep their promise. if they haven’t, call to demand that they do so. if they break a promise, give ’em hell. -- source link
