worldlyanimals:A Jaglion is the offspring between a male jaguar and a female lion. On April 9, 2006, two jaglions were born at Bear Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Jahzara (female) and Tsunami (male) were the result of an unintended mating between a black jaguar called Diablo and a lioness called Lola, which had been hand-raised together and were inseparable. The picture on the left (the “normal” colored jaglion) is the male jaglion, Tsunami. His sister, Jahzara, is melanistic just like their father. Jahzara was originally abandoned by her mother, but all ended well. The mother lion eventually took care of Jahzara, and now both jaglions are very healthy.Photo of Jahzara: bearcreeksanctuaryPhoto of Tsunami: tarafrost -- source link
