grandegyptianmuseum:Head of Kushite King Shabaka from Karnak TempleOnly the head of Shabaka is on display here, although it will originally have formed part of a pink granite colossal statue of the king. He wears the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt above his nemes-headdress, and two uraeuscan be seen at his forehead. This latter element is typical of the 25th Dynasty (Nubian Dynasty).
