So all these dwarf-lassies probably had a huge crush on Bombur because he already had prominent sideburns when he was young (I still don’t quite understand how most of these dwarfs’ hair and beard even work). I’m not quite sure, but is Bofur the older one and Bombur the younger one? I read somewhere that he was and the way he treats his brother in the film seems to be, like when he scolds him for getting a second helping of soup. -- source link
