FROGS Here’s that post some of you are patiently waiting on. After much deliberation on whether or not to include my frogs (“Super Frogs”) in my shop I’ve decided that it would probably not hurt to list them when I have them. After all, I know some of you are as enthusiastic about this wonderful media as I am, and everyone could use a big work-safe squishy thing plopped somewhere. Frogs are considerable in size, at least in terms of handheld stress relievers. They’re about 4.5" tall, and 5" wide at the thighs and fairly rotund. They are still not sex toys. I won’t be opening for custom orders on them anytime in the near future, so everything purchaseable will have been cast already. They may be priced as low as $25, however since I put a considerable amount of work into some of the designs and coloration a majority will be more than that. I recently cast one in plaster so that I could create a new, better mold for them. The last one has some air bubble problems, and is almost impossible to demold without someone else’s help. Not sure when this will be done. Hoping to get a few of these up soonish, and then also hoping life will be kind enough to allow me to futz around with making an entire army of them. I for one welcome our froggy overlords. The pictured one has, of course, had a home for…a year and a half. Personal favorite. Feel like I’m forgetting something here. Questions? -- source link
