xoxodiabeticgirl: “What’s that?” “It’s my medicine.” “Your medicine? Can I hold it?” I work at a daycare with kids ages 1-4 and I love how curious they are about my pump. I tell them it’s my “medicine” because it’s something they can understand. One of the toddlers I work with was especially interested, wanting to touch it. And yesterday she asked me if she could hold it! I explained how she needed to be very gentle and not pull on it and she followed my instructions.
